Troll

The Menendez FlipFlop

by: notforbob

Sat Oct 21, 2006 at 04:29:19 PM EDT

Lie #1:
NJ Senate Debate on October 8th when asked about the Federal Investigation about his unethical dealings he said "The fact of the matter is, there is no criminal investigation"

FACT:
In a Sept. 24th Interview with George Stephanopoulos, after being asked about the Federal Investigation placed upon him 'We welcome it, and we look forward to its successful conclusion"

Flip Flop #1

Lie #2
NJ Senate Debate on October 8th Bob Menendez said " I have worked hard to protect America, thats why I voted to implement the 9/11 commissions recommendations."

Fact:
Bob Menendez actually voted AGAINST implementing the 9/11 commissions recommendations (HR 10)

Flip Flop #2

Lie #3
On Wednesday October 18th at a speech to Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston Bob Menendez, when asked about his colleague Joe Lieberman said " I wish him well and hope he returns"

Fact:
After Ned Lamont upset Joe Lieberman in the August 8th Democratic Primary in CT Bob Menendez said "While I am disappointed, I must respect the voters of Connecticut, and put my support fully behind Ned Lamont"

Flip Flop #3

Bob Menendez has flip-flopped too much, and has failed the people of New Jersey. While you can hate republicans, and blame them for the problems of the country (i know i do).......Remember, DEMOCRATS have been in control of the New Jersey legislature, and have been serving as our senators and majority of our congressman for YEARS and where are we now? The most corrupt, state in the nation, we pay the highest tax's, we get the least respect, and we have the 2nd highest unemployment rate in the country.

Bob Menendez and the democrats in Trenton have failed us. Its time to show them the door.

by the way, hate me if u must, but if your going to respond actually PROVE me wrong, dont just tell me that ive been "drinking the karl rove kool-aid", or "i'm Tom Keans dog".....actually prove me wrong, otherwise ive just proved YOU wrong.

NEWS FLASH: "Blue Jersey" Unfair to Republicans

by: Thurman Hart

Sat Oct 07, 2006 at 07:18:49 PM EDT

It looks like we have us a bona fide "Democrat for Kean" - which is to say someone who is a Republican but will deny it.  I don't blame them.  I'd be ashamed if I voted for George W. Bush, Dennis Hastert, Mark Foley, Scott Garrett, or Mike Ferguson.

It's easy to find trolls.  They are stupid creatures who labor under the mistaken notion that they can hide their true allegience.  Hey, if Dems can dump Joe Lieberman for sucking face with George W. Bush and still support gay marriage, then you should figure that we're good at spotting fakers.

Check below the fold to get a chuckle at a chucklehead.

Answers That Raise Questions

by: Thurman Hart

Thu Sep 21, 2006 at 12:29:07 AM EDT

If you don't know what this post is going to talk about by now; then you've likely been hiding in a spider-hole today.  Undoubtedly, someone who works for Tom Kean, Jr wishes they had been.  Trolls, as I understand mythology, often like to lurk in such damp, dark places.  The unfortunate fact of modern life is that trolls freely roam these tubes, spoiling for a place to start a war.

The New York Times seems to think that the reason for the recent invasion of trolls is the Q-Pac poll that, depending on how you interpret it, shows either Junior or Menendez is leading.  But we haven't had trolls grubbing through here on the release of previous polls, so I'm not sure I buy it - though it is an interesting coincidence (all the more so because we posted - and got the troll response - before the poll was published).

It seems much more likely to me that the better reason for the sudden bad behavior is a reaction to my post revealing an article I discovered in the Jersey City library that dispells every single claim the Junior campaign has made concerning Bob Menendez and the NHCAC.  My proof?  Well, I obviously don't know what happens inside the heads of people I've never met.  But the story ruffled some chicken feathers.

The Sockpuppet Has No Sock

by: Juan Melli

Wed Sep 20, 2006 at 09:39:19 PM EDT

Jonathan Miller at the New York Times:
The Kean campaign’s technical adviser said that the Internet protocol, or I.P., address that linked the posts to the Kean headquarters was an old one, “from over a month ago.” But an e-mail message Ms. Hazelbaker sent to a reporter on Wednesday shares the same I.P. address.

Deborah Howlett at the Star Ledger:

Hazelbaker argued that the address Melli published -- 70.90.20.85 -- is not the campaign's IP address. It is, however, the same IP address that appears on numerous official campaign e-mails sent by Hazelbaker to The Star-Ledger through the course of the campaign.

Hazelbaker said last night that she could not explain why that IP address shows up on her e-mail, but that the campaign's technical staff assured her Melli had it wrong. She declined to say what the campaign's IP address is.

I'm sure this was just another one of their many "coincidences".

I See My Debut was a Hit

by: Bob's Look Alike

Wed Sep 20, 2006 at 08:04:47 PM EDT

With my bullet proof vest, grey suit, and For Rent signs, I started the first of many appearances at Bob Menendez's rally with his far left wing supporters in East Brunswick.  Of course, many of you remember me from the event at Rutgers, where I ensured "my twin's" reputation as landlord was noticed by all.  Some of you forget that our side has successfully shaped the debate this year, and that really is the democrats fault.  The poll today shows that even if people believe that Tom Kean is a Republican, like W, he is still his own man, an Independent Reformer, and is likely to win in November.  IRAQ, IRAQ, IRAQ, won't win this election, because in NJ taxes are the NUMBER ONE issue. Not to mention the fact that Kean really does believe that Iraq needs a change of course, not a PULLOUT....but Cut and Run are the only two words your party understands. One Letter (W) and two words are the equation to victory.
Now in my defense:
First of all the FLIP FLOPS for the 1st day were a strategic choice, albeit unfashionalbe, but if they worked for John Kerry I figured I would give them a try.

Secondly you must admit that the similarity in looks is scary, and believe me on November 8th, I will do everything in my power to change that....until then I will be Boss Bob "And Weave".

Finally, you should really look at the facts of this case instead of partisan political rhetoric in place of legal statutes.  Would the rental deal have been that large of an issue if Bob was not a US Representative, ABSOLUTELY NOT, but the fact remains we should hold those elected IN BOTH PARTIES ACCOUNTABLE as Chris Christie has shown.  The Torch found it necessary to admit his corrupt behavior, which was equal to that of Menendez.

Democrats really should have but Rob Andrews or Dick Codey in that seat to begin with, you might have gained the Senate this year.

But you didn't and now its legally too late.

At least we will have someone in the Senate who will stand up to President Bush, and NOT cave in to the pressure of Hudson County, and Trenton entrenched corrupt politicians.
