Blue Jersey Radio LIVE Tonight at 8:00 with Assemblyman Dan Benson

Asm Dan Benson, LD-14
Assemblyman Dan Benson, LD-14

Blue Jersey Radio streams LIVE with New Jersey’s latest political buzz, interviews with newsmakers, and your stimulating calls.

Tonight: We’re joined by the New Jersey Legislature’s newest face: Assemblyman Dan Benson who was sworn in this week to represent the 14th Legislative District, filling the seat left vacant by Senator Linda Greenstein’s move up earlier this year.

On the heels of democrats quietly increasing their Senate majority to 24-16 with Greenstein’s arrival, it was good to see that Assembly seat stay in progressive hands. And, we’ll be talking to those hands tonight.

Have some questions for our newest progressive Assemblyman? Drop ’em in the comments.

Or join us LIVE from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, and have your say. We’ll be ready for your calls at: (646) 652-2773

And, remember, if you miss the show, you can always go back and listen to the archive, or download them on iTunes.

Blue Jersey Radio – 2010 Year in Review

Each week, Blue Jersey Radio streams live with New Jersey’s latest political buzz, interviews with newsmakers, and your stimulating calls. And each year, we get to take a week off, and just listen back to some of our favorite shows.

So, like we did back in 2007 and 2008, and 2009, we invite you again to sit back, relax, and “click on the pix” to have a listen back to some of this year’s Blue Jersey Radio Year in Review:

Congressmen

In such a tumultuous year, we were privileged to hear directly from a number of our representatives in Congress, including first-time guest Rep. Donald Payne, and returning guests, our dear friends, Rep. Frank Pallone and Rep. Rush Holt, all three of whom will be returning to Congress in January. (By contrast, Rep. John Adler didn’t manage to squeeze us in this election year, and he won’t be going back. Coincidence?)

Blue Jersey Radio Returns – LIVE Tonight at 7:30 p.m. with Assemblyman Pete Barnes

BlueJerseyRadio

Each week, Blue Jersey Radio streams LIVE with NJ’s latest political buzz, interviews with newsmakers + your stimulating calls. Call-in Number: (646) 652-2773

This Week: Jeff and I welcome Assemblyman Peter Barnes, the newly minted Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. BlueJersey was a loud and vocal critic of the choice, obviously preferring one of Barnes’s more liberal colleagues. That prompted the Assemblyman to introduce himself (and his progressive bona fides) to the BlueJersey community. That’s what’s on tap for tonight.

Remember when????

So, someone sent me a way too long video that they received which was of the “you eeevil soshulist Demmocrats better watch it cuz we are coming to git ya” variety, and I decided that it was way too easy to come up with a powerful rebuttal.

That being said, I put this little video together to remind everyone just how things were back when Republicans ruled Congress (and the White House).  And that this is precisely what they will do if they regain power.

Enjoy…..
