What I like about Rob Tornoe’s cartoons is that in addition to being his own sharp observations in handy drawn form, there is often his own commentary in text, like his post-with-cartoon at his own humor site, Delaware Punchline. Rob’s life is anchored in Delaware these days, but he’s still got his eye on New Jersey. Rob’s take on the CWA negotiations:

From our friend, cartoonist Rob Tornoe at Punchline. Now you can make your very own Chris Christie back-patter! Now, Christie’s behavior at his bizarre, post-blizzard, post-Disney press conference in Monmouth makes sense. He had his back-patter! Whoa, I get all of 2010 now! Not sold in any stores.
Our friend Rob Tornoe has a great new cartoon posted at Punchline.
We’ve been running our friend Rob Tornoe’s cartoons for a while. He comments on New Jersey politics with his drawing pen (or whatever spooky-smart cartoonists use these days) even though he lives in ChristineO’DonnellLand. His new venture is Delaware Punchline, and that’s where I found this cartoon Rob did. What I like most is that the drawing comes with a full post of commentary. Chris Christie, pumping up his political profile for a national audience unaware of his homestate fuckups, tunnel-killer. For Rob’s second reason why Christie pulled the plug, you’ll have to go to Punchline.
Try not to look at the light in the tunnel. Nothing good can come from that.
Our friend Rob Tornoe just sent us his latest. It’s like he drew it just for us (but he didn’t). I’m just glad somebody who sees the same stuff we do knows how to draw cool stuff. Thanks, Rob!
My favorite is Town Hall Loyalty Detector:
Rob Tornoe’s latest cartoon takes on the differing rhetoric and actions between Chris Christie the candidate and the guy serving as Governor:
Cartoonist Rob Tornoe always has a way of illustrating news thats reported. For example, here’s his take on what the appointment of Bret Schundler to the position of Education Commissioner signals about the road ahead for Teachers and their union working with Governor Chris Christie:
Our friend Rob Tornoe just sent us his most recent cartoon for Press of Atlantic City, where he is cartoonist in residence. We always like to see what you’re working on, Rob. Love this.
