by: Jay Lassiter

Fri Dec 07, 2007 at 09:56:28 PM EST

After 3 rounds...

1. Edwards 43% (76 votes)
2. Obama 38% (68 votes)
3. Kucinich 19% (34 votes)

We had over 200 attendees, the total final tally is slightly lower because a few folks had to leave.

sounds like it was great! (4.00 / 1)
A very good showing for all three campaigns.

I have to think of a witty signature about Frank LoBiondo

Yay! (4.00 / 2)
I couldn't get there and I am so bummed about missing the excitement.  I just saw Jeff on the Channel 4 news.

I am psyched about the results. Edwards would have had my vote too.

I'd absolutely love to see an Edwards -Obama ticket.

Perhaps the political folks in the room were turned off by the fait accompli Hillary seemed to be at the Democratic State Convention a few months ago.  Her rubbing elbows with the Party Bosses in search of the money in NJ also may have turned off the progressives.  I know her courting Joe Ferriero didn't win her any friends in my house.

In the current culture of corporate corruption with the for sale sign on our House and Senate, the guy who can clean house is the guy who spent years fighting the corporate monster on the side of the little guy.  I want a guy who can think on his feet, answer a question when asked, and who can turn down the big money of corporate law to speak for the people - us.  Only one candidate fits the bill - John Edwards.  In this day and age food pantries of NJ are giving out half the food to each family that they did last year and there are more families to feed and we are spending so much more money on bullets in Iraq that bullets are actually in short supply for our own police forces.  I want a President who was against the sabre-rattling about Iran BEFORE the NIE came out and who considers poverty a national crisis - that can be solved.  I want a candidate who has a better health care plan than his opponents.  That candidate is John Edwards.  In NJ we are used to marching to our own drummer and not just accepting who the MSM tells us is "hot" at the moment.  Hillary and Obama may be smart enough to be President, but it is John Edwards who is also the only one who truly cares about the same issues I do.

One Vote. Yours. It really does matter.

Party bosses were in the room (0.00 / 0)
Cryan, Watson-Coleman, Codey, Rothman, etc.

Home based business (0.00 / 0)
Economic justice and poverty must be very observed in ones nation. Once we minimize the issues in economic justice I do believe that we prevent the continuous increasing rate of poverty. We all know that recession really makes our lives miserable but don't lose hope, we can still find way to survive. Why not try a home-based business?  A home-based business is one of the many synonyms for the same thing, which is working out of your place of residence.  One of the things you can do with a home business is to market a website or product. You can farm out work for content to college kids, or other affiliates for cheap.  If you do it right, a home business can really pay off.  It could be well worth a cash advance to start a home based business. So better think good ideas to start your own home based business, hence all you need is good strategic plans to succeed in this kind of business.
