Have you heard about the LiveEarth concert coming to Giants Stadium this summer?
In the spirit of Live Aid or Farm Aid, Live Earth will be a 24hr. world-wide event that uses great music and star power to raise attention and money for a good cause. In this case, Mother Earth is the focus and the lineup is a stellar one: Melissa Ethridge, Dave Matthews Band, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Roger Waters among others. Did I mention that Ludacris would be there too?
Rumor has it Pink Floyd may reunite for this show. Al Gore will be there. He's the spiritual godfather of the modern movement and a partner in this event. The concert is July 7th, with venues from all seven continents and the choice in North America is our own East Rutherford. How cool is that?

All venues will be designed and constructed by a groundbreaking team of sustainability engineers and advisors directed by John Picard. This greening team will address the environmental and energy management concerns of each concert site, as well as the operations of sponsors, partners, and other Live Earth affiliates. Each venue will not only be designed to maintain a minimum environmental impact, but will showcase the latest state-of-the-art energy efficiency, on-site power generation, and sustainable facilities management practices.
