Oh. My. God.

by: Thurman Hart

Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 12:11:18 AM EDT

I like to think that it's hard to stump me.  But I'm at a loss for words on this.  It's a bit long, but it's worth the time:

Send the video to Anne Milgram and Chris Christie.  Hell, send it to the New York and Philadelphia corporate press.  Send it to your local Congressman and ask them to publicly demand an investigation.

Thanks to the BurlCo Dems for working with the netroots and giving us the scoop here at Blue Jersey. They'll be rolling out their own statement later today (Wednesday).

Time to give our political state an enema...

This has to be investigated... (0.00 / 0)
From the looks of this, it seems like a small group of people are getting all of the spoils of government...

Can this be true?

what happened to the video? (0.00 / 0)
Wow!!! That Was Fast...... (0.00 / 0)
......whatever was on that video muct have scared the living shit out of someone!!!!!!!

I look forward to the statement coming out later today (if any of those people are still on the face of the Earth and willing to come forth.)

I have no idea what this was about; but I surmise that who/whatever the target was of this truth telling, they have the bucks to hire smart vicious attorneys.  :-)

Aha! The Video is Back!!!! (0.00 / 0)
........Good stuff!!!

However it's not surprising or shocking in the slightest. This is not news.   Any investigative journalist could have put all these facts together and drawn this picture.

This is a splendid and well documented accounting of how politics throughout NJ "works".   This kind of pay to play and cronyism and sweetheart deal is "par for the course" (to one degree or another) throughout NJ.

New Jersey is saturated in corruption and it's the taxpayers that are getting soaked.

If you ask almost anyone "on the street" they'll tell you that the whole system is a fixed and corrupt machine.

If NJ's progressives ever come together to offer a comprehensive alternative the people (ao all parties) will jump at the opportunity to get rid of these bastards.

The job can't be left to partisans who just want to replace a corrupt Republican machine with their own Democratic version and vice versa; I say a pox on all of the houses who countenance this kind of de facto racketeering.

As for Milgram and Christie; it's a dead issue.  They won't go after this stuff in any systemic way.  They are themselves creatures of the machine and corrupted by it.   If they were truly interested in cleaning up this kind of systemic corruption they would have been using the RICO statutes years ago and there would be taskforces of investigators and prosecutors a thousand strong declaring all out legal thermonuclear war on these scumbags.

Make no mistake, the machines "work" because people are afraid of them; people are afraid to "cross" Norcross and his ilk.  That is criminal.

Unfortunately, in NJ, the criminals are in charge.....and criminality is quasi legal.
