Pre-Debate Thread: Fireworks or Frustration?

by: huntsu

Wed Oct 15, 2008 at 04:21:36 PM EDT

Well, folks, time for another Presidential debate.  It'll be our last one in a little less than three years, thank Goodness.

What do you expect?  Is McCain going to go all out with Ayers and Wright, or will it be issues oriented.

Who's going to win, or -- even better -- what constitutes a win?

The live blogging debate thread will go up at 8:45 p.m. tonight, and a post-debate thread will go up when they're done annoying us.

I expect ... (0.00 / 0)
I expect that McCain will tepidly bring up Ayers because Biden and Obama challenged his manhood, but he will largely try to stay away from attacks.

And, because of that, this debate will be as unimportant as the others.

McCain's Glass Houses (0.00 / 0)
If McCain brings up Ayers, Obama should note McCain's own questionable associations, such as Keating and G. Gordon Liddy, and remind him that "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones ... especially people who don't even know how many glass houses they own."
