by: Jason Springer

Sat Aug 30, 2008 at 10:37:31 AM EDT

Governor Corzine was a part of the panel on Real Time with Bill Maher this week.  He joined NPR's Michele Martin and CBS's Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson for a discussion. The show is split up into 4 videos with the rest below the fold.

Our Governor (0.00 / 0)
shouldn't quit his day job - until he is asked, of course.  He was good when he was serious, but did he really make a joke about being on drugs for a year?

One Vote.  Yours.  It really does matter.

Between (0.00 / 0)
Corzine's drug comment and Lautenberg's dut to lobbyists, the only thing holding back the NJGOP is their own ineptitude.

The GOP is taking the anti-corruption argument (0.00 / 0)
instead of the inexperience argument against Obama.
In NJ, that would be a good way to hit us if we weren't already taking major steps to battle it within the Democratic party already.  Oh, that's RIGHT, I forgot. Gov. Corzine just all but gave Joe Ferriero his blessing before the Convention. And Frank Lautenberg paid for ads against our reform ticket - (made up of all women - might I add). And Rothman spoke up for the re-election of Ferriero.

It will embarrass us NJ Dems royally, if they come to arrest Ferriero during election season and we have all the glowing accolades of Ferriero from Dem Party Leaders - including our own "ethics reform"  Governor and Senate President.

I have one word for Corzine, Rothman, Lautenberg, and Codey:

Awkward.

One Vote.  Yours.  It really does matter.

I just pray (0.00 / 0)
that Ferriero doesn't appear at a campaign event with Obama.

Yeah, I Read That Ferierro is Working on Just That.... (0.00 / 0)
....no doubt he's lining up a couple of million bucks worth of pay to play cash cows to try to draw Obama into his own tangled web.

This is his "shtick" what else would anyone expect?  Let's hope Barack is not in need of cash in October.

And if he is, and he does kiss the devils ring....that he tells them to fuck off after he's elected.

In the interview above Corzine makes a passing reference to the few pols who take the money but won't deliver the goods......obviously, that's a one shot "deal"; but hey, wtf.

Let's get Obama elected, and then organize to make the parade for progressive change so effing big...that he'll be pleased/forced to get to the head of it and call it his own.

That's all we're getting in Obama, a fair chance that good things will happen (he's not a revolutionary).......with McCain there is zero possibility of that, quite the contrary.

Meanwhile, let us strive to retire Mr Ferierro and all of his ilk, asap.

I wouldn't count of Christie or Milgram to do the job for us (and even if they did, the system would just produce another boss).

It's going to take raising the consciousness of, literally, millions of New Jerseyans to get the job done.   When people understand and see for themselves, no amount of bullshit and/or bribery will cloud their vision.
