Leonard Lance supporting Bush?

And having met him a few times, and having heard others of both parties speak of him, I know he's a good man.

But also, I cannot understand how he could align himself with the Republicans. Oh sure, I understand that whole "Episcopal Republican" thing, but...well, there ARE limits.

The nom de plume has a long and distinguished history.

Maybe there's a reason for that?

Normally, the conclusion is reached after the research is done, not the other way around.

Lance has a history of bucking his party, I think he was the only republican to vote against Whitman's nonsense. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's no fan of Bush.

...he favors extending Bush's ridiculous lopsided tax cuts.  The web site neglects to mention what federal programs he would cut back or eliminate to pay for those tax cuts.  He's also on board with Bush's Iraq fiasco.
