Glad that Holt spoke up for what he believed in.

Amen, Rush (4.00 / 1)
Good for him for speaking out.

And as an aside, let me just say that it's nice to know where Rob Andrews's heart is on this. A lot of folks said that any progressive votes he cast in the last year or so were made only because he had the Senate primary in mind. With the primary over, that's obviously not the case here. Good for Rob.

And good for the rest of our delegation to who stood up to this absurd evisceration of our fourth amendment rights.

I'd like to underscore the fact (4.00 / 2)
that in 2006, when the Congress was controlled by Bill Frist and Denny Hastert, the administration tried to get a bill passed legalizing warrantless eavesdropping and telecom amnesty, but was unable. They had to wait until the Congress was controlled by Steny Hoyer, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to accomplish that.

Nice move Sherlocks.

Dump Reid, Dodd for leader.

Yes (4.00 / 1)
Hear, hear, Rep. Holt.  I was really surprised and sorely disappointed when I heard about this turn of events.

Boy, was I so wrong in my hopes and expectations of Nancy Pelosi.  What's the matter with her?
