However, if Sabrin looks like he's got a real chance to win the nomination, he may have some explaining to do about his relationship with Turner.

I disagree with your timeline. Let him win the nomination first, and then bring up his relationship with Turner.

For Turner, there is no such thing as bad publicity.   He knows that 99.9999% of the people who hear about him will see that he's an assoholic racist.   Turners self avowed agenda is  to, as he himself states openly, not to make bombs, "...but to make bombers".

Like many creatures of his ilk, this sad soul is looking to reach some poor pathetic psycho that is demented and stupid enough to actually carry out the violence that lies in Turner's own chest cavity (where there would normally be a heart).

Unless Sabrin is willing/able to abjectly, profusely and in great and specific detail publicly reject what Turner stands for and to somehow explain precisely how and why he was conned into associating with him; he doesn't meet the threshold for running for any kind of elected office at any level in America.
