Just a great post ! Continued contacts are important. Kirschner and the high paid lobby people on the Business side have not stopped working. Lonegan has not stopped working.

These Assembly people would love to hear that people want them to support this bill so I encourage everyone who reads this to send an e-mail.

Ron Rice did not hurt the Bill. He has some problems and " sat it out" . Shirley Turner however actively tried to kill this bill. She should be ashamed of herself.

Special recognition should go to Bill Baroni who stood up to the pressure and voted his conscience.

In addition Nia Gill had the guts to change her mind after she kept an open mind and listened to both sides. She did not let her ego get in the way. That took a lot of heart.

Thank you Nia Gill and Bill Baroni, and shame on you Shirley Turner.

Finally a thanks must go out to Steve Sweeney who never let previous defeats get in the way of pushing this Bill.

One more week!!!!

another tax increase on NJ taxpayers....that my friends is anti-family and anti-taxpayer...which is exactly what this bill is....
earth to my left wing tax and spend Dems...stop reaching into my pocket and taking my money..i don't want you spending my money....this is a redisrtibution of wealth.....
why don't you do what i do....save money for a rainy day, nobody is helping me out, i sacrifice today by saving $ for the future.....you guys are just killing us taxpayers.....as i said previuosly, i will vote against any Dem who supports this tax increase...i am just fed up the my fellow Dems who continue to raise my taxes, so the only thing i can do is vote against them, which i will do......

you actually aren't a troll:

the "tax increase" is truly microscopic and won't cost employers a nickel.

Other than greed and selfishness, what values do you hold dear?  (This is why I question whether Jill has come back to visit).

Help us to understand.  What Democratic values do you support?  Why have you decided to be a Democrat instead of a Republican?  What Republican values do you disagree with?
