Sierra Club Endorses Adler

The Sierra Club today endorsed Senator John Adler in his campaign for New Jersey's third Congressional district.
"There is no stronger advocate for the environment in the New Jersey legislature than John Adler," said Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club.  "Not only has he been a leader and a champion of environmental causes, he also knows how to get things done.  We believe that he will be a great asset in Washington and will take his proven legislative experience and environmental leadership to the Congress of the United States."

For years, Saxton touted his "moderate" credentials with the Sierra Club Endorsement and work on the environment.  This is a good get for Adler and keeps his momentum going on top of the recent fundraising success.
Let us not forget to also acknowledge... (0.00 / 0)
the other NJ Reps and challengers who were given the nod by the Sierra Club: Andrews, LoBiondo, Pascrell, Rothman, Payne and Holt. Also interesting, the national environmental group endorsed both Candidate Stender and candidate Lance for the 7th...guess Little Whitman gets no love!
