Today was a good day. n/t (4.00 / 1)

One Vote.  Yours.  It really does matter.

Exciting Day (4.00 / 1)
If I'm being picky, I want to ask Herb Connors, Michael Panter, Jeff Van Drew, and Paul Moriarty whether they were there for the N.J. Death Penalty Commission Report, since they all sided with the Republicans on this issue.

That said, today is a day of celebration, as government has done its job, and made the system, here the penal system, more equitable and just for its citizens.

Bi-Partisan? (0.00 / 0)
The only two Republicans to vote for it were Senator-elect Bateman and Blee who is leaving.

Senators-elect Baroni and Beck voted no.  I expect we'll see their progressive viewpoints emerge once they move to the upper house. ;-)

Six Democrats voted no, including Senator-elect Van Drew, Conaway, Diegnan, Greenstein (still following Baroni), Mayer (who's leaving) and Moriarty.  Also Bodine, a DINO, voted no.

Again, a good day, but a sign of why some things are going to be very difficult to get done.

as to why these "DINO"s voted with the GOP to keep killing those already serving life sentences in jail! When did life not become punishment enough?! I'm especially displeased with Senator-elect Van Drew...if I knew he'd revert to his Cape May GOP roots in November, I would have not casted my vote for him. SHAME! At least Albano did the right thing, and did not follow Jeff's lead (per usual).

Are you from Cape May or Cumberland? n/t (0.00 / 0)

Millville...why? (0.00 / 0)
Is it even relevant..Jeff let us all down!

just curious. (0.00 / 0)
There are few of us from this area of the state.  Most of the South Jersey contingent is along the Delaware.  I was born in Millville, my grandparents live there and my wife teaches there.

I am not surprised by the vote, especially with a possible new run in the offing.

That's what happens when the picture of the board is taken before the vote is finished. :-) I'll have to look at the link for the final roll call. n/t (0.00 / 0)

Sorry. Should have been seven Dems, including Panter. n/t (0.00 / 0)
