Chris Dodd didn't file for New Jersey primary

That's somewhat of a shame, because Dodd has more experience than every other Dem candidate than Biden and has served in Congress since before many of us were born.  Dodd has done good work for on the environment and, thankfully, has a 0% rating from the Christian Coalition. I'm somewhat concerned that the media is hyping the Democratic race as a two-candidate one -- and good candidates like Dodd don't get the attention they deserve.

I saw Dodd on the debate yesterday and turned to my boyfriend to say"  I didn't even know Dodd was still running!"  I guess it's mutual apathy.  He ignores NJ while we ignore him.  That's fair.

Tip-off: Dodd-free Caucus (4.00 / 1)

We tried to get the Dodd campaign to provide a surrogate speaker for the NJ Presidential Caucus last Friday, but they weren't able to get that together. At one point I asked them simply to find us one person who was gathering petition signatures - great surrogates can be found among the good people simply doing the ground work, and don't have to be big names like Codey, Watson Coleman, Rothman etc. - but they couldn't even do that.

The campaign must really be struggling.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.
