Jay's Caucasian Adventure, con't.....

by: Jay Lassiter

IMG_2234Congressman Steve Rothman stands for Obama.  And his pitch was actually goosebompy.
This is so fun!  Congressman Steve Rothman stands for Obama.  Up next, Assemblywoman Watson Coleman makes the case for Senator Clinton.  The crowd is borderline delerium which is so exciting to see.

Re: (0.00 / 0)
I like Obama, but Rothman is not a good surrogate. Both at the AC convention and tonight, he managed to get the crowd to boo when he said that if anyone other than Obama were at the top of the ticket, Democrats would lose Congressional seats down ticket. That's complete bs.

Unfortunately for the Congressman, public speaking is not one of his gifts.  Even worse, he seems to have gone from soporific speaking to antagonistic speaking.  :-)

Making a crowd annoyed at you is not a way to bring them to your point of view.

I did't know about any priors (AC) (0.00 / 0)
Shame.

IIRC there were a few other "off flavor" comments during the evening, but I was not counting, On a night such as this, there was too much fun was to be had.

I thought it was a great idea to have a caucus. Overall it was well run, and I completely enjoyed the evening.
