Or is AT simply being AT?
Corzine set an example by being at his desk yesterday. It would have been more impressive if he had not already taken off Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and, of course, Thursday, according to several state legislators.

three questions (4.00 / 1)
Why did you encourage your supporters in Iowa to caucus with John Edwards in the 2nd round in 2004 instead of Howard Dean?

Who will you be encouraging your supporters in Iowa to caucus with in the 2nd round in 2008?

When will you realize that your candidacy does more harm than good for progressive politics?

I wanted to ask those first two (0.00 / 0)
minus the confrontational third one.

I have to think of a witty signature about Frank LoBiondo

He says he's not encouraging supporters to back any 1 candidate.

Thanks for the questions!

Explain your reasoning for your third question (0.00 / 0)
Because I simply do not agree with that sentiment at all.

Thanks to Dennis Kucinich for doing the show.

Wow - maybe the liveliest show ever. And, fun to do.

In Praise of Kucinich (4.00 / 2)
Kucinich may not have any chance of winning the nomination, but at least he's putting the progressive agenda on the table—more so, arguably, than any of the other Democratic candidates. Almost every other liberal activist I speak to likes Kucinich's positions the most. What a pathetic state of affairs that some on the left would attack him for championing the very policies we fight for.

the problem (0.00 / 0)
Kucinich has the problem of becoming the story instead of being the messenger.  Therefore, he diminishes the message he is "trying" to convey.  "Purity" (however defined) in and of itself, is not a virtue.

Kucinich (continued) (0.00 / 0)
There's a good discussion at Daily Kos on just this subject, i.e., whether Kucinich is good for the progressive agenda or not. Its provocative title is: "stfu so we can get elected."

http://www.dailykos....

He may not be the greatest politician, best salesman, or knight in shining armor we all dream of, but let's give credit where credit is due: no other candidate is arguing for our cause as assiduously as he is.

Great "Get" (0.00 / 0)
I think it was a great interview for Blue Jersey. Congratulations to Jeff and Jay for getting a Presidential candidate on the show - especially a progressive like Congressman Kucinich.

One Vote. Yours. It really does matter.
