Lautenberg and Menendez on the Employee Free Choice Act

Unfortunately, the Employee Free Choice Act actually did not pass in the senate, since the Republicans effectively blocked the bill from being voted on on the senate floor, and Dems didn?t have the 60 votes to override it (I believe it is called cloture).  This bill did pass the House, though, and the blockage in the senate should not stop our efforts to get the bill passed in the senate in the future, especially when we have more Democratic seats ? and a Democratic president who wouldn?t veto it like Bush would.
