Wally Edge's awesomeness made me do it. He posted this anonymous parody of Mary Wells "My Guy" dedicated to the resignation of Guy Talarico. A choice excerpt:

the BCDO made Bergen County blue but Guy Talarico made sure it will stay that way for the foreseeable future. He will be missed.

Yeah, Talarico was the perfect assistant for the BCDO the last few years. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that the GOP up there remains unable to find itself a chairman with half a brain.

The Republicans here in Tenafly (0.00 / 0)

aren't even fielding Council Candidates at all. Two seats will likely fall to the Democrats - making our council completely Democrat - without a shred of help from the BCDO. Although, I am quite sure, they will take credit for that.

If we win the Mayors seat, Tenafly will be completely blue no thanks to Joe Ferriero. In fact - in spite of him. The number of undeclareds is growing and growing every year.

One Vote. Yours. It really does matter.
