... I wouldn't bet that he'll be going anywhere.  From what I've seen in print, I'm not convinced Christie can make his case that Bryant is guilty of federal felony crimes.

Compound the nebulous quality of evidence with the power of the old boy system here, and I have to say I really doubt he is going anywhere in shame.  If a judge and other insiders pulled a card from this payola house of cards, all their cards come down.

The solution to the obvious corruption must be legislative, not criminal prosecution.  Alleging criminality does little more that cripple one partisan team while empowering another that's doing the same darn thing ... it's just moving the rotten eggs from one basket to another.

...the farm that he'll be gone soon.  he's not running for reelection.  what happens then is anyone's guess. 

but i get what you're trying to say here.  if you're right and the only pressure to oust these types must come from outside (because "judges and other insiders" won't, as you say) then more power to this blog.
