Bravo Roberts & Gill (0.00 / 0)
It can be argued that New Jersey is America's most segregated state by municipality.  TDR's fulfill the prejudices of white suburban communities and cash-strapped urban centers perfectly, and as you can see from the article, has proponents and detractors on all sides of the political spectrum.

I look forward to a good fight over this and see what side Blue Jersey falls on.

Some truth to Roberts' statement (0.00 / 0)
I'd have to say I would not be surprised to learn NJ is the most segregated state. Traveling around the state I can't help but sense it. The tiny school districts are a contributing factor too. I recall growing up in the South where "neighborhood schools" were an ugly code word for racial segregation. Funny I'm reminded of it here, albeit the rationale is different--a mythological "local control."

And didja notice how everyone here jumped on this issue?  Can't you feel the energy?
