Can Bob Ingle Do Math?

by: huntsu

Tue Jan 09, 2007 at 10:26:14 AM EST

(Ingle says NJ is weary of Corzine's "failure to deliver." Here's his inaugural address -- do you agree? - promoted by JRB)

Bob Ingle says that Jon Corzine's recent 51 percent approval rating shows that "the public is not happy with Corzine's failure to deliver on promises of property tax relief and a cleaner, more ethical government."

No, really.  Read it yourself.

This kind of knee-jerk anti-Corzine (and anti-Democrat) falafel has gotta be the influence of hanging out on 101.5 with the "We Aren't From and Don't Live In Jersey Guys" every Friday.

His point was that it was 58% about 6 weeks ago. (still 51% is nifty), but I believe we was trying to demonstate a declining trend in public opinion since the property tax deadline was missed...

The headline is "Growing Weary Of Corzine," and the text says that people are "not happy" with specific issues.

All he has is a single poll-to-poll dip near the margin of error, a Governor with a 51% approval rating and absolutely no internals to support his position.

There is no evidence to support his position, but he makes it anyway. 101.5 all the way.

Good Reason to be Weary of Corzine (0.00 / 0)

If Corzine succeeds in selling the Turnpike to fund property tax reduction, we're going to look back in a decade and see it as NJ's low point.  It will be seen as far worse than Whitman's bond measure, which was merely financial shenanigans.  With the Turnpike and Parkway selloffs, Corzine will be violating the public trust for short term political gain that financially benefits his Goldman-Sachs and other Wall Street friends.

I'm getting weary of Corzine's very non-progressive proposals.
