Nothing, You Idiot

Here's a nice letter to the editor in today's Express Time (PA):

Arab enemies cheer for Democratic win

Ayatollah Khamenei, Moqtada al-Sadr and the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq have all celebrated Americans voting Democrats to power in Congress. Now what does that tell you, America?

Nicholas Romano
Pen Argyl, PA

It tells me nothing, because I don't give a damn what they think.  I don't cast my ballot worrying how they will react, but in how my country can best deal with the problems facing it.

If we, like Mr. Ramano, made all our foreign policy decisions based on how our enemies would feel we'd be in deep doo doo.

Oh, yeah.

Actually it tells me a lot... (4.00 / 2)
Because while this clown, like so many Dittoheads chooses to try and cherry pick who was "cheering" this election results, the fact is that you can find articles, blogs, and more from Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and many other friendly locations as well that are thrilled to see America get off its lazy ass and attempt to muzzle the insane rabid dog that is the current administration.  It tells me the ENTIRE WORLD (with the exception of these pinheads of course) knows what a disaster the Bush administration is.

Of course it goes to show... you CAN fool 31% of the people, ALL of the time.

Our DEM majority hasn't even been sworn in.... (4.00 / 1)
But I feel a little safer already, how about you.

Check out my 3 paragraph primer on Polywell Fusion.

You have to understand... (0.00 / 0)
There is this same claque of frothing right-wing mouthbreathers that get their drivel published every month in The Express-Times. There is one woman from the same area whose letters are published like clockwork and, I am sure, for their entertainment value. They certainly don't edify or add a damn thing to public discourse.

The nom de plume has a long and distinguished history.
