NJ-07: Ferguson Cowardice Watch: Day 28

Now, Republican Mike Ferguson was supposed to be the "big monster" in this race: he was the incumbent, had loads of cash (thanks to Tom Delay, Duke Cunningham, Mark Foley, and the rest), was in a safe "red" district, and had the backing of the Republican machine in DC.

So why is he SO scared of Linda Stender?

Mike: EEEEEK! Linda Stender's gonna get me!!!

What's with all of these chicken-hearted Republicans? Afraid to mix it up in an open debate? Afraid the Democrats are going to take your seats?

What's that, wing-nuts? You think a Democrat would do the same thing if he was an incumbant?

Tell that to Rush Holt, who took the time to debate his Republican challenger, Republican Joe Sinagra, in their race in NJ-12.

Democrats face their challengers. Republicans run way like frightened baby ducks.
