| Condi Rice will deliver the keynote address at the Wilson School at Princeton University on Friday. The Princeton-based Coalition for Peace Action is organizing a protest against the Bush administration's failed Iraq policy, which she played a key role in developing and selling to the American people:
We know that he has the infrastructure, nuclear scientists to make a nuclear weapon...
The problem here is that there will always be some uncertainty about how quickly he can acquire nuclear weapons. But we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud."
- Condoleeza Rice, Sept 8, 2003

| Juan Melli :: Holt/Pallone to join protest of Condi's Princeton visit |
It will begin with a Rally at 1:00 PM at Palmer Square in the center of Princeton. At approximately 2 PM, the Rally will conclude, and a March toward the site of Secretary Rice’s talk will commence. The March will go down Nassau Street to Washington Road (Route 571), and will proceed down that road to as close as the marchers are allowed to Jadwin Gym. The protest will conclude with a Vigil along the sidewalk on Washington Road.
To date, US Representatives Rush Holt and Frank Pallone have tentatively agreed to speak at the 1 PM Rally. Rep. Holt has indicated that if he can’t personally come, he will send a representative from his office. In addition, Sue Niederer of Military Families Speak Out, whose son was killed in Iraq, will speak. |
