Effing Hot Haiku

It's effing hot. And it's Friday. Time for some haiku with a heat index of 108. You remember the rules - 5 syllables, then 7, and 5 again. Your topic is the one the last person suggested for you, then you get to name the topic for the next writer.

Seriously, there's plenty to write about: Christie's plummeting poll numbers, Home Depot bazillionaire wants Christie to run for Prez (I'll grab that one), Rupert Murdoch gets pied and now Lautenberg's after him too, medical marijuana - finally, One New Jersey, Donald Norcross jumps from his labor post, union cash dries up for Dems, NJTV WTF?, NJ-GOP raking in da money, Christie back from vacation ...
