Sweeney's caucus votes against him by 2-1 margin

by: 12mileseastofTrenton

It's time for him to step down as leader.

If his own caucus votes against him by a 2-1 margin on such a fundamental issue, he no longer has the confidence of his caucus.  It's time for him to do the honorable thing and step down.  If he won't do that, the caucus needs to force his hand.  Whether now or after the elections.  Whether Democrats have a majority or not.

Step down now, Mr. Sweeney!

Sweeney must go (0.00 / 0)
His own caucus votes against him 2-1.  If he has an integrity, he'll step down.

LOL. One Vote /One Issue (0.00 / 0)
Like a true leader he encouraged the state Senate Democrats to vote their conscience.

He still has the overwhelming support of the caucus.

Keep wishing.....

You must have those death panel blues (0.00 / 0)
Less money for Boss Norcross.  Fewer kickbacks for Sweeney.  Less money for him to spread around to his toadies.

Here's something to cheer you up:

Open Minded Sweeney (0.00 / 0)
The State Senator once again showed today that he is willing to compromise.

Too bad CWA leadership did not do the same .

They left one hell of a proposal on the Table! The facts are starting to come out !

Resign as leader (0.00 / 0)
If he has the "overwhelming" support of his caucus, despite the fact that they rejected something that has been his number one priority for five years by a 2-1 margin, let him step down now and have a new election for leader.

He won't because he knows he wouldn't get the support of the majority of his caucus.

Lives at stake. Please stop,lying. (0.00 / 0)

Sweeney already has blood on his hands.

Why do you want to share in the taking of people's lives?

You are just lying with these posts.

How Dramatic! (1.00 / 1)
" blood on his hands"

WOW! You will say anything when you are pissed.

It is over. Move on to the Budget . Fight for causes that can still be won.

Will Win LD 3 in a landslide (0.00 / 0)
The StateSenator will win his District by 20 points.

He will be reelected Senate president .

Listen. You lost on this issue.Take the loss and move on to more important things.

Your obsessive hating will only lead to other losses.

Can't argue with the facts (0.00 / 0)
Rank and file Democrats, not just union members, disapprove of his performance.  His own caucus voted against him on his signature issue by a 2-1 margin.  He needs to show some honor and integrity and step down as leader.
