Casey up 15 in PA

by: Brian McGinnis

So, I know we're a New Jersey based site, but I live in Cherry Hill--right across the Delaware River from the great city of Philadelphia. So, I've got a casual interest in Pennsylvania politics.

Which is why I get excited by stories like this one.

If Casey beats him badly enough in November, I may cut out the headline and have it framed.

Our government is run by Santorum and his ilk, so it's more than a casual interest to me!  It would be nice if Casey and Rendell would have some coattails and help get some of the fine Democratic Congressional candidates elected.

There's a perverse pattern, since 2000, of things looking like we're going to prevail, then the Rovians pull some sleazy crap in the last few weeks to "win".

I hope the folks in PA are watching those voting machines and the whole voting system there very closely.

Santorum is entrenched power; such creatures don't just go away without a nasty struggle.

Let's dance and party in November!!!  :-)
