I have an easy solution to the problem that the Chairman describes with regards to the leaked map and perceptions about it.  Open the entire process to public scrutiny by having a webcam record every second of every meeting, broadcasting the meetings on the internet, and making it illegal for any member of the LRC to discuss any aspect of the redistricting process outside of the publicly broadcasted meetings.  As the saying goes, sunshine is the best antiseptic.
