    TEVO DECISIONS (4.00 / 1)
Glee and Rachel Maddow and NJN's Jersey-centric coverage.  I can only watch and/or record two of the three....

    Whatever shall i do?

Turnout very heavy in Berkeley Heights (0.00 / 0)
for a midterm election year. Going to be over 50% turnout for sure, and possibly as high as 55% (5000).

GOTV in our mayoral candidate's dining room. 22 people in the room. 8 walkers out walking. Phoners phoning. Pizza. Brownies. Paper clips. Lists. Cell phones.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

    Is that a good thing... (0.00 / 0)
...for a Democrat in Berkeley Heights?  I know that high turnout is generally good for Democrats, but are there actually 2,501 Democratic votes to be had in that town?

    [ Parent ]
    Unfortunately I lost (0.00 / 0)
My running mate ran well ahead, but still lost by 350 votes to the 2nd place Republican. Turnout was about 4500 in the end, but it was heavily Republican in nature.

    Thank You, Rosi (0.00 / 0)
I appreciate the request. At this point, I'm concentrating on my graduate work. I'll think about next year...well, next year.

County Committee, on the other hand...let's just say I'll be on the ballot in June, one way or the other. :)

    MSNBC's First Call (0.00 / 0)
Rand Paul, who quickly learned to keep his mouth shut. He is going to be an ornery SOB, but at least he may be as difficult for the Republicans as he will be for the Democrats.

...the problem is that under the absurd Senate club rules, one guy can create an enormous amount of trouble.  The Senate will slide further into dysfunction.

night shaping up badly so far (0.00 / 0)
nationwide it's on course for a 50+ seat loss in the House.  Democrats will hold the Senate with the help of Tea Party suicide in Delaware and a popular WV Democrat who literally shot the cap and trade bill on TV.

    well..... (0.00 / 0)
50+ and 8 in the Senate was projected.  And outside of Grayson (which hurts), I'd like to see how many Blue Dogs and Rahm's 2006 "class" (and other DINOs) lost....

Scott Garrett - on the wrong side of, well, everything.

    [ Parent ]
    I think we may agree (4.00 / 1)
I am saying he will be ornery for the Dems because he will take advantage of Sen. rules to bottle up everything he dislikes, plus vote no, no, and no.  But even on votes that the Republican establishment wants, he may be difficult, and he may push for  votes that Republicans view as futile. As long as the Dems control the Senate only they can decide what's up for a vote, but either way dysfunction will continue.

    Looks like Adler's gone (0.00 / 0)
Half the votes in Ocean County and Adler has 37%.  No real surprise though as he has seemingly written off this part of the district anyway.

I think Adler needed to keep within ten points of Runyan to carrey the district but so far he's 23 points behind.

Holt, Pallone trailing in early returns (0.00 / 0)
    http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/20...

Pallone is 450 votes behind with 12% reporting.  All votes are from Monmouth County.

    for comparison (0.00 / 0)
    Monmouth Univ's last poll:

In the Monmouth County portion of the district, Little leads Pallone by 52% to 45%. Three weeks ago, Little had 47% to Pallone's 49% here. However, the incumbent continues to hold a sizable
58% to 37% lead in the other parts of the district, including urban strongholds in Middlesex and Union Counties. This is similar to his 58% to 33% showing here in the October 6th Monmouth University Poll.

    Ocean County vote (0.00 / 0)
98% of the vote counted and Adler down by 23 points.

I doubt he'll make this up in the rest of the district.  And for all the mailers I got from DeStefano he only took about 2% of the vote.
