Where is the Tea Party? I need a Tea Party.

by: Rosi Efthim

Thu Aug 05, 2010 at 03:02:35 PM EDT

So, about a week and a half ago, Adam L a/k/a clammyc & I were in Vegas at Netroots Nation. And Joey Novick split his time between Netroots and the far-right's smaller (but growing) blogger conference called Right Online, which seems to follow Netroots everywhere, always plopping down in the same city wherever Netroots goes.

I don't know how Joey did both. The whiplash would drive me nuts. And that's one of the reasons this short video - A Tea Partier at Netroots Nation - (by sterno74 via our friend at DownWithTyranny) cracks me up. Cannot. Stop. Laughing. Turn the sound up, shoo small children from the room (um, language) and enjoy my nightmare. This is what a day in Hunterdon County is like.

Try Warren & Sussex too! In fact I swear that tea party cat is my neighbor..the one trying to impeach Sen. Menendez (for real, three houses down...)

Okay, duel ON. (0.00 / 0)
You bring your Tea Party peeps and I'll bring my Tea Party peeps. We meet on the county line at dawn.

:-)

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

I'm in Ocean County, 'Nuff said.

As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand.

I know people like this (0.00 / 0)
I know at least one person who thinks and talks like that. Well, aside from the robot-sounding voice.

Saturday at DFA at the Beach ... (0.00 / 0)
I'll be wearing a button from the Right Online conference for right-wing bloggers. If you want to see which button, you'll have to come hang out with us at a great deck bar called Moby's Deck. Totally casual. No meeting. Free. Order off the menu. Families invited.

There's a lot of crossover between Democracy for America (the national Chair, Jim Dean will be there) and Blue Jersey. And some Blue Jersey writers - including the new crop - will be there.

4pm Saturday
Moby's Deck
2 Bay Avenue
Highlands, NJ 07732
