Blue Jersey Friday Haiku

The Budget deadline is Monday and we've had hearings all week. Some programs like the SCI seem saved, but NJN and Women's Health weren't so lucky. Oil is still flowing into the Gulf and will not only be an environmental issue, but political one in the upcoming campaigns. We had more examples of Christie's transparency and saw a medical marijuana delay advance. Clearly we're not short on topics to rhyme about.

Rules are simple:

You compose a haiku (5 syllables, then 7, then 5) on the topic the last poster suggests. Then you get to set the next topic.

First Topic: Getting the budget votes

GOP Revolt
but they still do need their votes
It's arm twisting time
