Nicky Petrutz Believes Obama = Ceaucescu

Nicky Petrutz is a cook at a restaurant in Philadelphia who is a conservative republican that didn't realize the deadline had passed until it was too late, then decided to run as an independent, under the banner "Defend America's Constitution".

Now, Mr. Petrutz is pretty much a non-factor considering:

-the extreme Democratic lean of the district
-him not being a Rock'Em Sock'Em Candidate
-Robert Andrews having the seat as long as he wants it.

However, I feel the need to point out this disturbing quote, courtesy of PolitickerNJ:

A Romanian immigrant, a political refuge who grew up in communism, he wants U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews (D-Haddon Heights) jettisoned from Congress.
"As an independent," Petrutz explains. "I'm a political refuge. Some of my guys - friends of mine - got killed at the border. My son is a baseballl player - one of the best on the country. I don't want the United States to become a commiunist country."

What the hell? This guy thinks this country is going to communism? Yes, I know I've commented on the borderline Nazi attitudes in my home county, but this guy is off his rocker. For one thing, Obama is far from being socialist, his healthcare plan being extremely capitalistic, regardless, even if we had a full-bore socialist President, it would look nothing like Ceaucescu's regime.

Let me just give my condolences to Mr. Petrutz for what he had to suffer in his homeland. However, his homeland has embraced democracy, and it is just wrong for him to cast progressive change in such a light. It trivializes the suffering of the people in his homeland and other Soviet bloc countries.

First, Obama's compared to Hitler, then he's compared to Stalin, now, we can add Ceaucescu to the list of ruthless dictators that Obama has been wrongfully compared to.
