Us progressives spend a lot of time quoting Rush, Glenn, Shawn, etc.  Yes, we find some great "Gotcha" moments, but these guys are too certifiably wacko, attention-seeking, egotistical and generally misinformed. In the process their comments become predictable, boring and tiresome.  It's more interesting when an intelligent conservative makes a point which leads to a genuine debate.  Debating Rush or pointing at his outrageous comments only heightens his self-esteem and power.

It was cool when Paul Mulshine recently attacked Blue Jersey. Let them attack us and we get the free publicity and enhanced self-esteem.

Y'all Still Don't Get It, Christie is Winning.... (4.00 / 1)

Glenn Beck, asshole that he is, is still right in his observation that Christie's line of simplistic "common sense" bullshit is effective.  Especially when it is unopposed.

You still don't get the fact that most people do NOT spend hours a week getting into the details of policy.

The simplistic mantra mantra that Christie repeats with his tough guy Jersey boy manner is fucking EFFECTIVE!!!!

And if he drives the state to hell...eh will then use the same kind of simplistic bullshit to find ways to blame the pain on Democrats.

Unless NJ Democrats learn how to speak simple strong direct plain English they will continue to be rolled by Christie's demagoguery.

It's not enough to be right or to be telling the truth if you can't COMMUNICATE that to the people.

Christie needs to be publicly put down and forced to swallow his own bs.    NJ Democrats have to confront this guy on a a direct gutcheck plain English level.

That means a real fight.   If you don't fight, you surely will lose.
