Each week, Blue Jersey Radio streams LIVE with New Jersey's latest political buzz, interviews with newsmakers, and your stimulating calls.

This week: we're LIVE with Coffee Party USA's Annabel Park letting us in on what that organization is about, what they're hoping to accomplish, and what may await its future.

Plus, while congressional republicans (um, and John Adler?) wail and nash their teeth that the end is near, we get to celebrate the end too: of lifetime insurance caps, of coverage denials for pre-existing conditions, of uninsured status for 30 million Americans, and the list goes on. Health Care Reform - now the law of the land.

Think you know what it will mean for November's elections?

Let's talk about it. Drop your comments, predictions or questions down below, then tune in and join the conversation!

It's all LIVE, tonight at 8:00 p.m.

And, of course - you can always give us a call and have your say. That number again is: 646-652-2773.

Talk to you then!

Coffee Party Information (4.00 / 1)
Coffee Party NJ Facebook Page

Coffee Party USA Website

We are in the process of posting our Coffee Party locations for our second National Coffee Party Day, which will be this Saturday, March 27.

The focus of these get-togethers will be preparing for our Coffee with Congress initiative, where we will be trying to meet with our Congressmen, Democratic and Republican, and our Senators during their upcoming recess (March 29-April 11).

We expect to have at least one if not more Coffee Party locations in Atlantic (Southeast NJ), Camden (Southwest NJ), Mercer (Hamilton, Princeton, Trenton), Middlesex, Monmouth (Howell and Neptune), Hunterdon (Frenchtown), Union (Cranford and Springfield), Morris, Passaic (Clifton and Wayne), and Bergen Counties.

Anybody who remembers the heady early months of Howard Dean's Presidential campaign and is nostalgic for that kind of energy and enthusiasm should join us at a nearby Coffee Party location.  If you are a member of an existing progressive organization, our members would love to hear about what yours is doing and share ideas for working together.

No more Wal-Mart dimwits (0.00 / 0)

And no more Wal-Marts in NJ.

Christie and his Lt. Governor are supposedly making five calls each a week to attract more business.  Let them find companies which provide reasonable salaries, create new, needed products, and don't destroy local businesses.

"The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die." - Sen. Ted Kennedy
