I can't tell you just what a difference you have made here in NJ.  But I hope you get at least a small sense of the affection from all the comments here.  I still remain your biggest fan.  

If it wasn't for your leadership and reaching out to the grassroots community, many of us never would have known the power that was in our own hands all along.  You gave us the road map for making a difference.  You not only told us where the secret club and the back rooms were where politics too often gets done, you held the front door wide open for ordinary NJ citizens to walk through and reclaim the halls of government for the people again.

Your candor and humor, and especially your toughness in the face of what many said was impossible, has seen us through.  We are truly blessed to have a legislator of your integrity, honesty, and strength in Trenton.

Thank you so much for all you do.  You are amazing.

And thank you for all the important work you do.  You helped inspire me to run for my Dem committee seat, and we are on our way to voting tonight on improved language covering vacancies of elected officials in our municipal bylaws!  I used to ask myself, why is Loretta always saying 'know your bylaws' and now I get it. I think I'll propose a diversity statement next, modeled on Hoboken's recent changes.
