I have informed PDA that due to a schedule mix-up I will not be able to attend the Saturday conference.  I also informed them that I cannot in good conscience appear on a program with the organization, Gaza Freedom Marchers.

Senator - apologies for the confusion, i spoke with the PDA national team and they're fixing their press release.

fixing in what way? (0.00 / 0)
Have the GFM been disinvited from participation with this event?  They are not listed on this press release, but they are listed on the event's Facebook page.  My computer just crashed as I was writing a very long comment about the GFM and their 'Cairo Declaration'.  It would be great to know that they have been disinvited and I do not have to bother rewriting this comment.

If PDA-NJ would like to have a presentation from a progressive organization that is doing constructive and productive work towards achieving a peaceful resolution of the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and her neighbors, instead of a divisive organization like the GFM, I would be more than happy to reach out to representatives of J Street, the Israel Policy Forum, and/or the Workmen's Circle.

Let me know how you would like me to proceed.  Thanks in advance.
