The continued litmus test of marriage equality will limit the  progressive agenda.

The gutless attack on one Senator while  allowing two other "civil rights " Senators, Rice and Turner, off completely, only adds to the hypocrisy and minimizes those who claim to be progressives.  

Lets be fair or just come clean and be "haters" .

Rice and Turner have been attacked here, many times.  

Sweeney has gotten attacked here again because he seems to be playing both sides of the issue and telling different things to different people.  Rice and Turner are bad for voting no and should be denounced.   Sweeney is particularly bad as he is the Senate President and seems to be lying to other Democrats.

We are being fair.  We aren't the ones lying here.

....a price for his actions.

A movement that is all carrots and no sticks will never achieve it's goals.

There has to be a moderate/progressive reform minded Democrat in Sweeney's district willing and able to run and defeat him in the next primary.     A warchest/pac should be established to fund such a campaign....and it's NOT just about marriage equality......it's about the whole reform agenda.  

As I've been sauing here for years folks, it's all connected.....and unless we unite as a progressive movement, the corrupt scumbags running BOTH party establishments will always win.
