and not that close. But it is important to have a vote with a record so that everyone knows where people really stand.

I have to tell you (4.00 / 2)

I can barely deal with today's news. Everybody's so on edge. But almost everybody I know spent the day working towards tomorrow's lobby day in Trenton, and in the aftermath of the marriage equality letter to legislators.

New York was bad news but, Don't Mourn, Organize!

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

I spent the day working towards the lobby day too (4.00 / 2)

and I plan on being there tomorrow despite the fact that I am incredibly sick right now.  

I'm from New York and called my parents state senator (voted yes) pretending I still lived there.  

I guess Empire State Equality (or whatever they're called) needs some lessons from Garden State Equality when it comes to targeting individual legislators-- particularly the Democrats who voted no.
