It's Friday, 18 days out. Will Christie keep bleeding votes? Does anybody get Daggett's tax plan? Will Corzine get to sign the marriage equality bill he wants to sign? Will our friends working on campaigns ever get a full nights sleep?

It's time to take out your own frustrations in verse, where they can't hurt nobody. You know the drill - haiku is 5 syllables, followed by 7, then 5 again. If you write one, you get to name the topic for the next poet. Mandates, mammograms, Christie's hotel bills on your dime, Lucy the Elephant. It's all there for you. And I'll start you off:

Lucy the Elephant

Mother Nature blows
Elephant smacked in the butt
Women voters rock
