You make the best case possible for New Jersey!   Despite having some of the crappiest pols in the nation, we truly do also have some of the best people!   The more Light we all shed on the state the better!

Me too.

I spent whole chunks of my years in the knuckle part of the thumb part of the mitten. i love Michigan. Bloomfield Hills, and Huntington Woods, for me, with a stint in Ann Arbor at U. of M. (oh how I hate Ohio State).

Literally everyone I know who lives in JC loves JC, so good luck on the new real estate fun. And welcome to Blue Jersey, glad to have you here.  

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

As soon as I get settled there is going to be work to do to somehow, someway to beat Chunky McDonuts in the Governor's race. Corzine is a very flawed candidate but on pocketbook issues that matter he's far and away the better choice.

I keep my blog pretty straight up the middle as folly is folly no matter who commits it (and it makes for better blogging critiques) but my personal time, effort and MONEY will always go to the BLUE candidate. I volunteered for Jennifer Granholm's campaign twice in Michigan and worked door to door for Al Gore in 2000. While my blog may be purple, I'm blue as blue gets.


Remember, remember the 5th of November. The gunpowder, treason, and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

We are definitely glad to have you here.  Jersey City has seen a lot of political craziness for sure over the years, but the Walkway is a lovely reminder what the folks of JC can do when they get riled up about crime and corruption.  They had to fight the waterfront corruption to get that walkway, and Governor Brendon Byrne went a long way to help them make it a reality.  Jersey City folks were the ones who took the frightened and injured in on September 11 when the ferries and tugboats brought them over from lower Manhattan that day. I have a lot of respect for my friends from JC.  

One Vote.  Yours.  It really does matter.
