Blue Jersey Friday Haiku

Many Democrats are in Atlantic City right now at the state conference and Al Gore will speak at dinner tonight. The campaign for Governor rolls on and the Senate Finance Committee is still debating over 500 amendments to healthcare. So there's plenty on the table for our Friday installment of daily politics in verse.

Rules are simple: You compose a haiku (5 syllables, then 7, then 5) on the topic the last poster suggests. Then you get to set the next topic.

First topic: Brick City

the triumph and tragedy
