Runnin' Down A Dream

Update: Promoted from the diaries by Rosi. We like this video, and we admire the outreach this campaign's doing. What do you all think?

Thanks for keeping us in touch with the campaign, Jim. Just as an editor's note, I want to note that Jim and Matt Jordan (see Comments) are both with the campaign. Now, back to our regularly-scheduled programming .... - - Rosi Efthim

The campaign to bring real world values and bold new leadership to New Jersey's 40th District is in full swing.  We recently opened our campaign headquarters in Ridgewood, and more importantly, John & Mark have been knocking on doors all over the 40th District letting voters know directly what they will bring to the table if elected in November.

But John & Mark can't walk the whole 40th District by themselves, although they are going to try like hell.  We need your help to get their message out.  I hope anyone in Bergen, Essex, or Passaic Counties will consider volunteering to phone bank, stuff envelopes, or canvass in the 40th District.  In order to upset Trenton insiders Scott Rumana and David Russo we are going to need a grassroots movement - built from the bottom up - and I hope you all will take part in building that movement.

We have a lot of reasons to believe that the 40th District is trending blue.  More importantly we have two strong candidates in John Agostinelli and Mark Bombace who will bring practical experience desperately needed in the State Assembly.  They are not career politicians looking to pad their salaries. They want to serve in Trenton to bring a new perspective and work to solve the problems facing our children and families.

Contact me directly, jim@40thDistrict.com if you are interested in an internship or want to talk about other ways to get involved in the campaign. We need your help, and if you give some of your time to this campaign, you can play a major role in helping send John & Mark to the State Assembly.

I urge everyone, please visit the Agostinelli & Bombace for Assembly campaign website and sign up to receive email updates.  Furthermore, join our Facebook Group, and if you are already a member invite your friends to join.  If you want more up-to-date news directly from John & Mark, follow us on Twitter.  I hope you will help us this Fall to send John & Mark to the State Assembly.

John and Mark are great guys (4.00 / 4)
and very dedicated public servants.  I'm proud that they are running in my district and will help however I can.

Scott Garrett - on the wrong side of, well, everything.

Thank you. (4.00 / 2)
We are going to hold you to that so I hope you are ready to work.  Ridgewood is an important town for us in the 40th.

Interns? (4.00 / 1)
We must have some college kids out there looking for some campaign experience-you could even do work from home if you don't live in the area. We already talked to faculty at William Paterson, Montclair, and Rutgers, who stated we would be able to arrange college credit for a certain number of hours devoted as an added incentive.

We are looking for interns to do research, some light media work, and other relevant hands on stuff-not just get Jim coffee.

Email issues@40thDistrict.com if anyone is interested.

Fun video introduction to the candidates (4.00 / 3)
well done.

My apologies Rosi.... (0.00 / 0)
As I mention here: I am the Campaign Manager for Agostinelli & Bombace, from now on I'll keep it posted at the top of the diary.

Thanks, Jim (4.00 / 3)
Appreciate it.

Keep the diaries coming from your team. I wish there were more doing the outreach you folks are doing.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

Looking forward (4.00 / 4)
to having John and Mark join us on Blue Jersey Radio next Tuesday, September 8th.

We're looking forward to being on Jeff. (4.00 / 2)
Mark and I have a lot of ideas of how we can better represent the residents of the 40th District-and we hope everyone on Blue Jersey will help us get out message out from now until Election Day.
