We have a little internet kerfuffle here at the beautiful convention center in Pittsburgh. Connection is beastly slow. But for those who have some time I wanted to share with you that you can watch Gov. Dean's Town Hall LIVE streamed here.

Do you have questions you want to hear from Gov. Dean on? Even if you're not here, you can tweet your question for him by using this hashtag: #DeanNN

about people opposing the public option would face primary challenges:
Former Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean fired one of the clearest warning shots at hesitant Democratic lawmakers on Thursday, insisting that if the party was unable to produce a health care bill with a public plan, there would be electoral consequences.

"I do think there will be primaries as the result of all this, if the bill doesn't pass with a public option," Dean said, in a phone interview with the Huffington Post.

Would he care to expand on that and what they're hearing after putting that ultimatum out there?

Also (0.00 / 0)
what is the response if the bill that they vote on doesn't include the public option at all?

No SUBSTANTIAL Public Option = Insurance Industry WIN!!! (0.00 / 0)
.....and a big LOSS for the American people.

ANY Democrat who fails to stand up for at LEAST a strong and substantial public option (one that is not linked to the existing commercial framework) needs to be primaried out of office.

My ideal is single payer.   The failure to aggressively puch for single payer from the start has resulted in the current pathological policy/political situation.

The opposition is eating our lunch so far.
