Especially interesting was his query about whether or not taking actions on global warming would, in fact, be effective or would just screw up the global thermostat further.  He response was well-spoken and equally thought-provoking.  I do, of course, believe in global warming, as do most scientists, but I thought it was certainly worthwhile to ask whether greater regulations can, in fact, help the situation greatly.
