Rudy and Schundler robocalls on line 1 for Christie

by: Jason Springer

Mon May 04, 2009 at 01:30:00 PM EDT

If you're not a reliable Republican primary voter (as Jeff Gardner is a Lonegan conservative), you may have missed the robocalls that are going out for Chris Christie from Mr. 9/11 himself Rudy Giuliani and Bret Schundler.  Vincent wrote yesterday about the fight over who the real conservative is and as Christie continues to try defining himself as the man, they're trying to help:

What do you think of robocalls?  They always annoyed me as a staffer. Somehow I would always manage to call after they got a robo call and most voters would complain about them. It would take more than a recorded message from Rudy or Schundler to get me to vote for Christie, that I know. But then again, I'm probably not their target.

Hmmm, let's see (4.00 / 1)
I need 2 "celebrities" to robocall on my behalf. How about...

1- someone from out-of-state, whose appeal has been on a steady downward spiral for over 7 years. And,

2- the 2005 primary loser, whose appeal is similarly waning, and who everyone knows endorsed me only because he hates my opponent.

FTW!

Rudy Giuliani? (4.00 / 2)
This is a guy who used tax dollars and New York City cops to act as chauffeurs and dog walkers for his girlfriend while still married and living with his wife at Gracie Mansion.

If Christie was truly against government corruption he'd tell Giuliani to take a walk, but Christie is really just all about Christie.

re: robocalls (0.00 / 0)
I've come to believe that we should have a law stipulating that it's illegal to do robocalling without identifying who's paying for the calls.

I do enjoy getting the bi-annual robocalls from Scott Garrett's campaign, though. That's because I'm not in his district, so I know he's wasting money that might otherwise be spent reaching people who can vote for him.

Unlimited calls (0.00 / 0)
I hope I'm wrong, but if they have an unlimited calling plan it doesn't matter.
