Morris County: Grover's Mill Redux?

Many many moons ago, when I was but a wee reporter covering West Windsor and Plainsboro, there were still people walking the earth who had defended Grover's Mill against the Martians ... among them, Stan Perrine, who was at that time (1983ish) Mayor of WW (and a teenaged kid in 1938 in case that's still not clear). He and his father apparently rode out into the night, shotguns in arms, huntin' for Martians. Stan didn't like to talk about it. His wife, on the other hand, brought it up at every possible opportunity ....
