She's baaack

Blue Jersey favorite GOP staffer Jill Hazelbaker always seems to land on her feet.  Despite her unsuccessful astroturfing campaign for Tom Kean Jr., she ended up doing communications on the John McCain campaign.  We all know how that ended and now Hazelbaker has a new assignment:
Mayor Bloomberg has added yet another recognizable name to his ever-growing stable of campaign staffers: Jill Hazelbaker, who most recently served as the national communications director for John McCain's presidential campaign.

[snip]

In a statement released by Bloomberg's camp, McCain said Hazelbaker "brings a skill set that is valuable to any campaign" and called the mayor "fortunate to have her on board."
"I wish him and the campaign all the best," McCain added."

Prior to joining McCain's campaign, Hazelbaker was the communications director on Tom Kean Jr.'s US Senate bid in New Jersey.

Uh, about that skill set. I immediately thought to alert the Albany Project to be on the lookout for new users over the next few days that really like Mayor Bloomberg. Ironically, I found they're already prepared, exposing a NY Sock puppet just yesterday.

By the way, the McCain campaign actually had a program asking people to sign up for Daily Kos [and conservative sites] accounts.

That's it. (0.00 / 0)
And there's a pretty lively conversation about sock puppetry in Comments that's worth reading too.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

very timely that I was writing the Hazelbaker post and they were already in the middle of their own situation.

I agree that (0.00 / 0)
elected officials should use their real names. You should have to stand by what you say.  You guys do know my H stands for Hoernlein, right? :)

One Vote.  Yours.  It really does matter.

I'd say most of us here do. But - especially since you are an elected - if you ever wanted to change your username to your full name, we can fix it so that all your diaries, comments, ratings etc. follow to the new username.
