Born in Queens, grew up in Brooklyn. You probably think that makes me an eastern elitist. Went to high school in Michigan though, does that cleanse me enough for you? Now I live in New Jersey, but that's where I get my swagger from, so shut up.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

BTW: hoosier born, carolina reared, seasoned in Maryland and yet still firmly rooted in the garden state.

I think it's a unique feature of our demographic that so many people aren't actually from here but wound their way around before CHOOSING to come here.
