This past Friday evening, a group of about 100 people gathered on the front lawn of Prince of Peace Church in Marlton for a vigil honoring those killed by gun terrorists and for a call to action to end gun violence. The vigil was sponsored and organized by the local chapter of Students Demand Action, an offshoot of the Moms Demand Action initiative. Below are the remarks from clergy, students, and mons.
Despite their recent financial issues, fighting the NRA and its GOP enablers will be a long-term and difficult effort. It’s especially gratifying to see these young people taking this action.
